Esther Eason Jennette, 88, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery.
Esther was born in Johnston County May 9, 1921, to the late Hiram Eason and Leila Kirks Eason. She was married to the late Herman R. Jennette.
Esther had worked for many years with General Electric.
Esther is survived by her sons, Ron Jennette and wife, Pam, of Goldsboro and Herman Jennette and wife, Margaret, of Swansboro; her grandchildren, Matthew Jennette, Meagan Jennette, Jeffrey Jennette and Jason Jennette; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday following the service at the cemetery.
