FLOSSIE M. GRADY

Flossie Murphy Grady, 92, of 978 Mills Road in the Grantham Community, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Murphy Sr. and Effie Jones Murphy and wife of the late Herman Wilson Grady. She was a member of Rhodes Friends Church.
Graveside funeral services will be held today at 4 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Gordon Clarke officiating.
Mrs. Grady is survived by one son, Ralph Grady and wife, Anna, of Mount Olive; two daughters, Virginia Millard and husband, Bill, of Goldsboro, Bobbie Vankuren and husband, Larry, of Goldsboro; one brother, Ernest Murphy Jr. of Mount Olive; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to the Rhodes Friends Church, C/O Ken Davis, 1471 Mills Road, Mount Olive, N.C. 28365.
