MOUNT OLIVE -- Jo Ann Faulk Davis, 64, 1098 N.C. Highway 403 W., died Sunday night at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
She was employed as a correctional officer with the N.C. Department of Corrections and she was a member of Stanford Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Melvin "Tony" Davis; two sons, Sean Anthony Davis of Mount Olive and Jerry Faulk Jr. of Goldsboro; two daughters, Tonya Jo Davis Cedars of New Bern and Gina F. McLaughlin of Georgia; seven grandchildren, Kegan Shoemaker, Marcus Davis, Braxton Davis, Lily Cedars, Graycen Faulk, Matthew Cedars, and Ava Faulk; three sisters, Peggy F. Sartin and Kay F. Strandell, both of Mount Olive, and Sandy F. Oliver of Michigan; four brothers, Larry Faulk of Washington, NC, Charles Faulk and Jimmy Faulk, both of Mount Olive, and Michael Faulk of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the daughter of the late Walter W. and Audrey Holland Faulk and sister of the late Jerry Faulk.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to Stanford Presbyterian Church, c/o Sue Kornegay, 827 Maysville School Road, Mount Olive, N.C., 28365.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 7 to 9 and at other times at the residence.
Arrangements are being handled by Tyndall Funeral Home.
