Katherine Michelle Bryant Coley was born July 1, 1965, to the late Elder Katherine Langston Bryant Wells and Milford L. Coley. She departed this life on Monday, Dec. 29, 2008 in Washington, D.C.
Memorial services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel, 900 S. George St.
Katherine Michelle attended Wayne County Schools and graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1983. After graduation, she joined the United States Army and served her country honorably. During her early years, she was a member of the Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church and served as a junior usher.
She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Michael Pack, who she met while serving in the Army.
Her memory will be cherished by two daughters, Candis Pack of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Lovely Burgess of Pittsboro; six sisters, Shirley Aldridge of Raleigh, Rosalind Croom of Pikeville, Patricia Silvera of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Shirley Coley of Goldsboro, Geraldine Coley Pitt of Goldsboro and LaVern W. Harvey of Dudley; six brothers, Ralph Bryant Jr. of Baltimore, Md., Linwood Bryant of Dudley, Milford Coley Jr., John Coley of Richmond, Va., Michael Coley and Anthony Coley of Goldsboro; and several nieces, nephews; a host of other relatives and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro.
