Wesley Sylvester Young, 71, of 3217 N.C. 222 W., Stantonsburg, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Eureka, with the Rev. Richard Darden officiating. Burial will follow at Artis Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Alverta Young and seven children.
Visitation will be today from 1:30 until 4:30 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro. The family will receive friends during the wake this evening from 7 until 8 p.m. at Gospel Tabernacle United Holiness Church in Fremont.
The family will receive friends at other times at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
