WARSAW -- Homegoing celebrations for the Rev. James Arthur Best, 72, 2579 Highway 24 W., will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Warsaw Middle School with the Rev. Herbert Williams officiating. He will be laid to rest in Martin Cemetery.
Born in Duplin County, he was the son of the late Clifton and Lillie Frederick Best.
Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of his wife, Mittie Best, and five children.
Viewing will be held Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Warsaw Middle School with an inspirational wake service from 7 to 8 p.m.
