TURKEY -- Essie Mae Jackson, 69, of Brooklyn, N.Y. formerly of Sampson County, died Sunday at Interfaith Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Greater Six Runs Baptist Church with Pastor Leslie Morrisey officiating. Burial will follow in the Morrisey Cemetery
She was the daughter of the late Neimah and Willie Morrisey Faison.
She is survived by six children.
Viewing will be held today from 5 until 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
