Died Dec. 29, 2008
MOUNT OLIVE -- Sallie R. Westbrook, 87, Mount Olive, died Monday.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Union Christian Church with the Rev. Jean Hood and the Rev. Bill Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Westbrook was preceded in death by her husband, Granger Westbrook.
Mrs. Westbrook is survived by her two sons and their wives, Thomas and Nancy Westbrook of Chesapeake, Va., and George and Anne Westbrook of Raleigh; and three grandchildren, Ellen Westbrook, Thomas West-brook and Nicole Dail.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at West and Dunn Funeral Home of Newton Grove.
