CHRISTOPHER A. REAM

Christopher "Chris" Anthony Ream, 23, passed away suddenly on Tuesday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be held tonight at 7 at Faith Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Dann Patrick and the Rev. Christian Powell officiating. Interment will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Eureka Town Cemetery.
Chris was born in Richmond, Va. on May 1, 1985. He was a student at Southeastern Free Will Baptist College pursuing his Pastoral Degree. Chris was currently working with Number 1 Builders in Goldsboro. An avid hunter and fisherman, Chris was a member of the National Rifle Association. He was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church and was a volunteer fireman with the Eureka Fire Department.
For those who knew Chris, he will be remembered as a generous and caring man and a loyal friend to so many. The love of his life was God, family and friends. Chris was most excited about his recent marriage on Dec. 6, 2008, to his wife Holly Nichole. He will be missed by many.
Chris is survived by his wife, Holly Nichole Ream; his parents, Beth and Todd Gwaltney of Eureka; his maternal grandmother, Hazel Sauls Davis of Eureka; his brothers, Steven Gwaltney and Daniel Gwaltney of Eureka; his father, Gary Ream; his half brothers, Dustin Ream and Blake Ream; his half sisters, Brielle Ream and Crystal Ream; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ream; his mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Sherwood Rhodes of Dunn; and his sister-in-law, Amanda Rhodes of Dunn. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Nathan Rose Davis.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 7 and following the service at Faith Free Will Baptist Church and other times at the home of his grandmother, Hazel S. Davis, 2356 Davis Mill Road, Goldsboro.
