LEVY W. FAIRCLOTH

Levy William Faircloth, 94, passed away on Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Grady and the Rev. Jo Ann Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Faircloth was born in Wayne County on Nov. 1, 1914, to the late Eddie Thomas Faircloth and Lillie Dickerson Faircloth. He was married for 67 years to the late Eunice Reaves Faircloth. Mr. Faircloth retired from civil service work at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. He was a member of Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Mr. Faircloth is survived by his son, Glen Edward Faircloth and wife, Pat of Goldsboro; his daughter, Brenda Rose Boles of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, William Thompson, Mark Thompson, Denise Gautier and Jenna Faircloth; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by special friends, Freddie and Avis Davis.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert H. Faircloth, Edward J. Faircloth and Graham Faircloth; and his sisters, Maude F. Brogden and Mary F. Mitchell.
Flowers are welcome, or memorials may be made to Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 4009 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at 203 Mourning Dove Lane, Goldsboro.
