CLAYTON -- Gladys Ta-Tanisha Davis, 31, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
Ms. Davis was born in Charleston, S.C. on Sept. 11, 1977, to Leola Brown Russell and the late James E. Russell. She received her master's degree from East Carolina University and attended The Lord's Table Church. Ms. Davis was an assistant principal with Cleveland Middle School.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Leola Brown Russell of Goldsboro; her loving precious son, Timothy W. Davis Jr. of the home; two sisters, LeAudrey Mozell Giordano and her husband, Guyle of Tucson, Ariz. and Jamela Shanette Galloway and her husband, Michael of Raleigh; a niece and five nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
Homegoing services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Howell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Highway 70 West in Princeton. A viewing will be held two hours prior to the funeral service. The family will receive friends other times at the home of her mother, 104 S. Becton Lane, Goldsboro.
