FLORRIE R. SWINSON

DUDLEY -- Florrie Raynor Swinson, 93, died early today at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at noon at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive with the Rev. Billy Cox offiicating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service and at other times at the home of Allen and LaMuriel Swinson, 431 Club Knolls Road, Dudley.
Mrs. Swinson was a long time member of the Dudley Christian Church and will be remembered as having worked for many years at the Southern Belle Restaurant in Mount Olive.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn S. and Dickson Cobb of Raleigh; three sons and daughters-in-law, Royce K. and Emily J. Swinson of Pink Hill; Willis Henry "Billy" Swinson III and Iris R. Swinson of Dudley, and Allen and LaMuriel G. Swinson of Dudley; a sister, Kate Kilpatrick of Kenansville; grandchildren, Belinda and Zack Perkinson, and Michael R. and Leigh Ann Swinson, all of Greenville, Lynne and Billy Cox of Jacksonville, Cindy and Burt Cooley of Dudley, Todd and Lou Ann Swinson of Kenansville, Timothy and Jill Swinson of Clayton, Shelly and Richard Proctor of Grantham, Anna Cobb of Greensboro, John Cobb of Raleigh; 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Calhoun and Annie Outlaw Raynor; her husband, Willis Henry Swinson Jr.; a granddaughter, Lindsey Cobb; and two brothers, Herman Raynor and Cecil Raynor.
