Gladys Ta-Tanisha Davis, 31, died Sunday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
Ms. Davis was born in Charleston, S.C. on Sept. 11, 1977, to Leola Brown Russell and the late James E. Russell.
Surviving is her mother, Leola Brown Russell of Goldsboro, and one son.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro with viewing beginning at 11 a.m. until funeral time on Friday.
The family will receive friends other times at the home of her mother, 104 South Becton Lane, Goldsboro.
