Adolf Otto Plogsties, 73, 782 Old Grantham Road, died Tuesday at Britthaven of Goldsboro.
Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. William Ordelt Jr. officiating.
Born in Germany, he was the son of the late Heinich and Luise Pietch Plogsties and husband of the late Mildred Long Plogsties.
Mr. Plogsties is survived by two sisters, Waltraut Barton of Goldsboro, Crystal Brooks of Newburgh, N.Y.; nephews, Winfred Barton of Stokesdale, Randy Barton of Kirkwood, Ill., Vernon Barton of Pikeville, Walter Brooks of New York, N.Y, Kevin Brooks of New York, N.Y., Danny Brooks of New York, N.Y., Roy Brooks of New Hill; and a niece, Norma Rogers of Goldsboro.
Family members will greet friends at the graveside and other times at the home, 782 Old Grantham Road.
