EDNAREE K. MCINTYRE

Ednaree King McIntyre, 306 Forest Drive, peacefully departed this life Saturday morning in the UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in Wayne Memorial Park North.
She was the wife of John H. McIntyre, Sr.
Mrs. McIntyre was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of Isis and Eta Phi Beta Sorority. In addition she was a stalwart member of Antioch Missionary Baptist for many years where she founded the Widows Mite Ministry.
Precious memories remain with her children, E. Regina McIntyre of Durham, Elston Ray McIntyre of Goldsboro, John H. McIntyre Jr., of Hillsborough; sisters, Augusta Silver of Goldsboro, Eula Jane Wynnn of Richmond, Va.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the National Stroke Association, 9707 E. Easter Lane Centennial, Colo., 80112.
In accordance with Mrs. McIntyre's wishes, there will be no public viewing.
The family will receive friends at the residence where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession. The family is being served by the McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro.
