GREENVILLE -- Mrs. Bonnie Ellis Lewis, 71, died Sunday.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Mausoleum at Pinewood Memorial Park.
Bonnie was an avid watercolor artist, she was a member of Greenville Brushstrokes and the Watercolor Society of North Carolina. She was also a member of St. James United Methodist Church and also the Thetis Book Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ethel Ellis, and a brother, Howard Ellis.
She is survived by her husband, David R. Lewis; two daughters, Sandy L. Joyner and husband, Ben, of Nags Head, and Susan L. Penhollow and husband, Chris, of Greenville; one son, Randy Lewis of Greenville; grandchildren, Catherine, Amanda, and Tucker Joyner, and Katie Fichthorn; sister, Sandra Ellis Buck and husband, David of Buford, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lewis will be available for viewing today from 1 to 5 at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
