CORA LEE MIDDLETON COVINGTON MUMFORD

Mrs. Cora Lee Middleton Covington Mumford, 90, 724 W. Chestnut St., entered into eternal rest on Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 1000 N. Jefferson Ave., with father Tom Norris officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park Cemetery, 2925 S. U.S. 117 Highway. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St.
Cora was born March 14, 1918, in Wayne County to the late Percy and Julia Middleton Covington. Her husband, David A. Mumford, preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her loving memories are a nephew, Froster Jr.; a niece, Brenda Smith of Goldsboro; a close friend, Hilda Strider of Goldsboro; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
