Annie Mae Ham Murvin, 82, passed away on Monday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She had been a resident of Goldsboro Assisted Living.
The family will receive friends Wednesday at Seymour Funeral Home from 2 to 3 p.m. followed by a service in the chapel at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Jackie Ham officiating. Burial will follow in Daniels Memorial Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Murvin was born in Wayne County on Sept. 25, 1926, to the late William Ham and Sudie Fields Ham. She was married to the late Cleveland Randolph Murvin .Mrs. Murvin attended the Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Evelyn Tolson Murvin of Goldsboro; and her grandson, Jeffrey Murvin. She is also survived by her step granddaughters, Tammy Self, Bridgette Hicks and Tonya Hicks; and five step great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Thomas J. Murvin; and her brothers and sisters.
