BILLY BRADFORD

William Henry "Billy" Bradford, 71, passed away Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by his family.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Snow Hill Cemetery with full military honors with the Rev. Richard Glosson officiating.
Billy was born in Wayne County on Nov. 14, 1937, to the late William Vander Bradford and Mary Elizabeth Toler Whitner. He served his country in the United States Air Force with 20 years of service. After retiring from his military career, Billy worked as a production operator for Firestone with 23 years of service.
Billy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Doris Tripp Bradford; his daughter, Teresa Bradford Crumpler, and husband, Anthony Wayne Crumpler of Goldsboro; his son, William Michael Bradford, and wife, Tonya Lee Bradford, of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Derrick Wayne Crumpler, Courtney Marie Bradford and Austin Michael Bradford; and his great-granddaughter, Natalia Rene' Crumpler.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made in his memory to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
The family will greet friends tonight from 7 until 8:30 at Seymour Funeral Home.
