Stephen Carl Gibbs, 38, of Burgaw, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Dan Robelen will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 1, 1970, in Spartanburg S.C., son of Carl and Jessie Page Gibbs.
He is survived by, in addition to his parents, his wife, Christina J. Gibbs of Highpoint; four daughters, Shelby Coats, Christen Gibbs, Mary Elizabeth Gibbs, Jessie Mac Gibbs, all of the home; four sisters, Nora Sinyard and husband, Hugh, of Douglasville, Ga., Becky Proctor and husband, Clint, of Castle Hayne, Wanda Price and husband, Bill, of Wilmington and Mary Beth Williams and husband, Dean, of Goldsboro; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. Tuesday before the service at Harrell's Funeral home.
