BEULAVILLE -- John David Melvin, 80, 285 Sandridge Road, died Saturday at Glencare of Warsaw.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church Bowdens, Warsaw with the Rev. Harold Boykins officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowdens Cemetery.
He was the son of the late McKnight and Libby Smith Melvin.
He is survived by one daughter; two brothers and two grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the home Vinnie Whitley, 915 N.C. 50 and U.S. 117 Highway, Warsaw.
