WARSAW -- Bobbie J. Whitfield, 53, 553 W. College St., died Sunday at Wake Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Macedonia Apostolic Holiness Church in Bowdens with her brother elder Swindell Best officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowdens Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late Harrison and Causin Bell Best.
She is survived by her husband, James Whitfield Jr. of the home; and six other brothers and five sisters.
A viewing will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel with the family being present from 6 to 7 p.m. to receive friends.
