Willie Mae Devaughn, 51, 605 Oleander Ave., entered eternal rest on Wednesday at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. at St. James Church of Christ, 603 W. Spruce St. with the Pastor Vennie Hairston officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Talameka DeVaughn.
She leaves cherished memories to a son, Jay DeVaughn, of Baltimore, Md.; her mother, Carniece DeVaughn, of Mount Olive; four brothers, James Herring of Durham, David (Jane) DeVaughn of Goldsboro, Jerry (Gwen) DeVaughn of LaGrange and Willie Melvin DeVaughn of Goldsboro; three sisters, Mary (Bennie) Moore, Connie (John) Oliver and Deardra DeVaughn, all of Goldsboro.
Viewing will be held Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence where they will also assemble for the funeral procession.
