Mrs. Thelma Hobbs, 85, 1909 Elton Drive, died Tuesday at the Brian Center in Goldsboro.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hobbs will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 600 Eleventh St., Goldsboro, with brother Harvey Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Goldsboro.
A viewing will be held today from 3 to 7 at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St. The family will greet friends at 1909 Elton Drive, and assemble there one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Mrs. Hobbs is survived by four children, Mr. Ray Hobbs of Greensboro, Ms. Kay F. Hobbs of Goldsboro, Ms. Charlene H. McCloud of Panama City, Fla. and Ms. Kim Hobbs of the home; five grandchildren, April, Annette, Autumn, Ashley and Beverly; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; six sister-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
