WARRENTON -- Robert Manley Monk, 58, died Friday at his residence.
Father Bill Upah will conduct funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
His parents, Harvey Gregory Monk and Mary Weatherby Jones Monk; and his brother, Harvey Monk, preceded him in death.
Mr. Monk was a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, the Warren County Community Foundation, and was a Board Member of the Schooner Beach and Racquet Club.
Robert is survived by his wife, Suzan Howard Monk; daughters, Natalie Alexis Alexander of Carbondale, Co., and Valerie Marie Bennett of Macon; brother, Randy Monk of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Davis, Edith and Mary Charles Bennett, all of Macon.
The family will receive friends at Blaylock Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph the Worker Stained Glass Fund at St. Joseph Catholic Church, West Ridgeway Street/Highway 158 Business, Warrenton, N.C., 27589.
Arrangements are being handled by Blaylock Funeral Home of Warrenton.
