Ethel Joyner Williams, 81, Fremont, died Saturday.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
Surviving are a daughter, Julia Williams Hendrick of Six Mile, S.C.; two sons Jimmy Edward Williams of Kenly and Jay H. Williams and wife, Elizabeth of Fremont; a grandson, Jordan H. Williams of Fremont; five sisters, Alice Godwin and Jean Barnes, both of Wilson, Shirley Barnes of Elm City, Sylvia Gregory of Rocky Mount and Lois Reif of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Hardy Williams Sr. and her parents, Eddie Thomas and Mettie Joyner Joyner.
The family will receive friends at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson today 6 to 8 p.m.
Flowers are welcome or memorials in her memory may be directed to Grace Baptist Church Building Fund, 202 N. Kincaid Ave., Wilson, N.C., 27893.
Arrangements are being handled by Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway.
