ALMA LEE

Alma Johnson Lee, 84, passed away Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. Burial will follow at Patetown Cemetery.
Mrs. Lee was born in Cumberland County on July 23, 1924, to the late Rufus and Ruth Johnson Turnage. She had attended in the past Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Goldsboro.
She is survived by three daughters, Carol Maxine Person and her husband, Jack, of Pikeville, Eva Lee of Goldsboro and Annette Carter and her husband, Jerry "Shot Gun," of Goldsboro; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Earl Lee.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
