JOYCE P. TRIPP

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Joyce Ann Parks Tripp, 62, N.C. 55 Highway E., passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was surrounded by loved ones who witnessed a beautiful moment when Joyce's spirit departed her physical body to spend eternity with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Services to honor her life will be held at Tyndall Funeral Home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Harold Turner and the Rev. Thomas McLendon officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Mount Olive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris Parks and Mary Elizabeth Owens Parks and a brother, Ervin Parks.
She is survived by three sons, Curtis Lee Tripp and wife, Joy of Albertson, Johnny Kurt Tripp and his special friend, Linda Williamson of Seven Springs and William Kirk Tripp and his wife, Jennifer of Seven Springs; six grandchildren, Caleb Tripp, Jonathan Pate, Guinevere Tripp, Sierra Tripp, Jairus Luke Tripp, and Rachel Joy Tripp; a brother, Morris Parks Jr. and his wife, Linda of Mount Olive; and three sisters, Betty Jordan and husband, Donald of Dudley, Dorothy Strickland and husband, Herman of Mount Olive, and Mary Ellen Kornegay and husband, Gene of Dudley.
She is also survived by a dear friend, Wayne Blizzard of Dudley.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at other times at the home of Curtis and Joy Tripp, 434 Woodland Church Road, Albertson, N.C.
Arrangements are being handled by Tyndall Funeral Home.
