Eldress Sharon Denise Grady Slocumb, 49, 245 Ruskin Road, Dudley, peacefully entered eternal rest on Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The homegoing celebration will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Antonio Blow officiating. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
She leaves beautiful and precious memories to two daughters, Sabrina Council of Florida and LaToya Council of Atlanta, Ga.; mother Eldress Clara B. Grady of Dudley; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. with the family present to receive friends during an inspirational wake from 7 to 8 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the funeral procession.
