MOUNT OLIVE -- Pattie Summerlin Reaves, 96, died Friday at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 11 a.m. at Maplewood Cemetery, Mount Olive, officiated by Dr. Dennis R. Atwood.
A longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Mount Olive, she was a native of Mount Olive, daughter of the late George and Emma Aaron Summerlin. She and her husband, the late James Reaves, owned and operated Reaves Cafe in Mount Olive for many years.
She is survived by sons, Jimmy Reaves and wife, Betty, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., George Reaves of Raleigh, and Richard "Dickie" Reaves and wife, Brenda, of Mount Olive; a sister, Elizabeth S. Hines of Mount Olive; grandson, Chris Reaves and wife, Melissa, of Wilmington; great-grandchild, Camren Grace.
