Bob Steele Smith, 69, 2935 N.C. Highway 111 S., Seven Springs, died Wednesday morning at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Walker Memorial Church, Highway 111 S., Seven Springs, with the Rev. Sherman Guthrie officiating. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Pineview Cemetery.
He was born in Wayne County to Julia Eva Loftin Smith and the late Joseph Thomas Smith and was married to Altha "Ann" Lane Smith. He was the owner and operator of Smith's First Aid.
In addition to his mother and wife, Mr. Smith is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Robert Lee Smith of Goldsboro and Steven Daniel and Faye Smith of Seven Springs; one daughter and son-in-law, Teresa S. and Junious Williams of Deep Run; and three grandchildren, Stephanie S. and husband, David Byrd, Tyler Williams and Julie Williams.
Family members will greet friends Friday evening following the funeral services and at other times will be at the home of Steve and Faye Smith, 350 Mince Hill Road, Seven Springs, N.C., 28578.
In addition to flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the Walker Memorial Church Building Fund.
