Danny Lee McCullen Jr., 105 S. Harding Drive, died at the age of 38 on Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Rose Hicks officiating. Interment will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the McCullen Family Cemetery.
Danny was born in Wayne County on Nov. 22, 1969, to Carol McCullen of Goldsboro and the late Danny Lee McCullen Sr.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his three children, Danielle McCullen of Wilmington, Bridgette McCullen and Allen McCullen, of Goldsboro; his brothers, Kenneth McCullen and fiancée, Melissa of Goldsboro and Thomas Deaver and wife, Gale of Goldsboro; his sister, Brenda Smith and husband, Donnie of Fayetteville; his maternal grandmother, Hazel Joyner of Dudley and two special friends, Richie Bender of Maryland and Ann Turnage of Princeton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins whom he dearly loved.
The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at 143 Vance Drive, Goldsboro.
