VEDREN L. BREWINGTON JR.

Retired, Master Sgt. Vedren L. Brewington Jr., 64, lovingly known by his family and friends as "Brew," 110 Cashwell Drive, died on Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Chapel, 1505 Vermont-Garrison St., Goldsboro, N.C. with Captain Randall W. Jamieson Chaplain officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park Cemetery, 2925 U.S. Highway 117 S., Dudley, N.C., 28333.
A viewing will be held on Friday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro, N.C. from 1 to 8 p.m. Also, a wake will be conducted from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel with the family present to receive other family members and friends.
"Brew" was born to the late Vedren L. Brewington, Sr. and W. Louise Blount Brewington on Jan. 13, 1944.
Immediately after graduation from high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served for 26 years.
He was preceded in death by his sister Carolyn Brewington Gray.
Retired Master Sgt. Brewington leaves to cherish his memory, his loving, caring and most devoted wife, Sara Washington Brewington; his son, Tyrone and Carol Brewington; two granddaughters, Bre-Ann Brewington and Ariyanna Dossey; two grandsons, Tyrone Brewington Jr. and Levon Brewington; one sister, Stephanie Brewington; mother-in-law, Roberta Washington; five sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
At other times, the family will receive friends and other family members at the residence of Mrs. Sara W. Brewington, 110 Cashwell Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
