Mother Johnnie Mae Jarman, 77, triumphantly passed from labor to reward at her residence on Monday.
Her rich legacy of prayer and service to God and humanity will be celebrated on Saturday at noon at St. Matthew Free Will Baptist Church, LaGrange. She will be eulogized by her son Elder Aaron Jarman. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery next to her beloved husband Costello Jarman Jr.
She was a faithful member of the Original Tabernacle of Prayer for All People. She known as a prayer warrior and favorite saying was "God is the head of my life."
Loving and precious memories will remain with her children, Johnnie M. Bond of the home, Elder Aaron and Eldress Cynthia Jarmon of LaGrange, Varo and Charles Rigsby of Fort Washington, Md.; sisters, Georgiana Wooten of Kinston, Dorothy Sanders of East Orange, N.J., Jean Woodson; brothers, George Wilson of Henderson, Willie Wilson and Buddy Hardy, both of Newark, N.J.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro. The family will receive friends at the residence where they will assemble in preparation for the procession.
