SELMA — William Douglas “Doug” Wiggs Sr., 65, died Thursday morning in Johnston Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at the Grace Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jason Thomas, the Rev. Gene Worley and the Rev. Tony Medlin officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery.
Born Sept. 15, 1942, in Johnston County, he was a son of the late Alex Nathan and Edith Crane Wiggs.
He is survived by his wife, Melba House Wiggs; two sons; three brothers; three sisters; and five grandchildren
Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton.
Flowers are acceptable or memorials may be made to the Grace Baptist Church Building Fund, 220 Barden St., Princeton, N.C., 27569.
