Jerry Dean Sutton, 61, of 7855 Beaman Old Creek Road, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Jerry was born in Wayne County to the late Dean "Snow Ball" Sutton and Gladys Wooten Sutton.
A service of remembrance will be held at 7 tonight at Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Reynolds Smith officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery.
Jerry is survived by two sisters, Sue Miller and husband, P.J., of Rowland, Linda Benson and husband, J.C., of Walstonburg; one brother, Tim Sutton and fiancee, Teresa Vining, of Pikeville; special aunt Margaret Sutton of Goldsboro; three nephews, Timmy Sutton, Alex Benson and Andy Miller; three nieces, Rachel Sutton, Jennifer Benson and Tamsey Evans; grand-nephew James Kersey; and a grand-niece, Brooke Sutton.
