GEORGE S. BLACKMORE JR.

WARSAW -- George S. Blackmore Jr., 76, 556 U.S. 50 and 117 Highway died Tuesday at Duplin General Hospital.
Born in Duplin County, he was the son of the late George Sr. and Lillian Blount Blackmore.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Warsaw with the Rev. David Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackmore Family Cemetery.
He is survived by three sons, three sisters, 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren
Viewing will be held Saturday from 4 until 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel and on Sunday 30 minutes prior to funeral service at the church.
