ILA QUINN FOX

Mrs. Ila Quinn Martin Fox passed away Friday July 18, 2008. A native of LaGrange, N.C., and former resident of Clearwater, Fla., Mrs. Fox had been a resident of Smyrna for 42 years. She was a member of Mount Paran Church of God and Trinity Fellowship Church.
She worked part time for Rich's department store for 24 years. She did extensive traveling over many years going to many countries. Mrs. Fox also had exchange students come from other countries to live with her and they became members of her family.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Fox of Smyrna; and daughter, Pam Martin of Smyrna. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernest and Vernell Quinn of Goldsboro, N.C., and Doug and Kay Quinn of Charlotte, N.C.; several nieces and nephews, and her loving and loyal pets JoJo, Spice Girl, Spencer, Cami "Black Girl" and Chelsea.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2008, at the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna with the Revs. Richard Hemphill and Don Wood officiating. Interment will be in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Those who wish may make contributions to the Humane Society, Multiple Myeloma, or the American Heart Association.
