VERLIN C. ROWE

Verlin Charles Rowe, 74, passed away on Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park with full military honors.
Rowe was born in Gardner, Colo., on Aug. 13, 1933, to the late Pervius F. Rowe and Margaret Bowhall Rowe. He was married to the late Beryl Lee Rowe, Margaret B. Rowe and Lynn W. Rowe. He retired from the United States Air Force with 27 years of service and had served his country in the Vietnam War, the Korean War and the Berlin Crisis.
Rowe is survived by his children, Mark Rowe and wife, Janie, of LaGrange; Bill Gibbs and wife, Sonia, of Raleigh; Sue Anderson and husband, Andy, of Knightdale; Rhonda Best and husband, Robert of Raleigh; and Cynthia Cagle and husband, John of Goldsboro, Rose O'Quinn and husband, Pat, of Goldsboro; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
