ZOIE O. FOSTER

DURHAM -- Zoie Oliver Foster, passed away Tuesday at Duke Hospital.
Memorial Mass will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3008 Old Raleigh Road, Apex, N.C., 27502.
Mrs. Foster was born in Fuquay-Varina, daughter of James and Clyda Oliver. She resided in Goldsboro, Cary and Apex.
Zoie was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church and was an active member of the Republican Women's Club. Zoie worked but most importantly raised and loved her three children, five grandchildren and so much looked forward to seeing her soon to be born grandson.
Zoie is survived by her husband, Frank Foster; son, Greg Foster and wife Vicki of Goldsboro; her daughter, Vicki Barefoot and husband Terry of Cary; son, Jeffrey Foster and wife Melissa of Charlotte. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jeremy Barefoot, Adam Barefoot, Ashley Foster, Brian Foster and Zachary Foster.
Zoie will be remembered as a devoted daughter, loving wife and cherished grandmother and good friend to many. She was the best mother imaginable.
Zoie greatly enjoyed her family and friends. She was so proud of all of her grandchildren and all of their accomplishments. Zoie never knew a stranger and touched everyone she met with her warm and generous spirit. Zoie will be truly missed by all whose life she's touched.
Visitation is Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Highway 55, Apex, N.C.
