MARIE F. BEST
July 26, 1931 - July 3, 2008
Marie Forrest Best, 76, passed away Thursday evening at her residence. Born in Greene County, she was the daughter of the late Sarah W. and Oscar W. Forrest and wife of the late Rufus J. Best. She was the owner of Atlantic Pacific Moving and Storage.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with Mr. Horace Modlin officiating.
Mrs. Best is survived by brothers, Bobby Forrest and wife, Ruby, and Ray Forrest, all of Goldsboro; two nephews; a niece; and two great-nieces.
Family members will greet friends Sunday evening from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
