LAGRANGE -- Bennie Catherine Carter, 66, of LaGrange went home to Heaven on June 27, 2008. Bennie was preceded in death by her mother, Carrie Brown, and father, Ben Christison. She enjoyed fishing and was an avid bingo player.
The funeral will be held Monday, June 30, 2008, at 10 a.m. from Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gerald Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Bennie is survived by her husband of 39 years, Bobby Carter Sr.; four daughters, Kim Thompson and James Holden of Kinston, Jerri Davis and husband, Jerry, of Kinston, Cathy Carter and husband, David Lempin, of LaGrange, Jeanette McCall and husband, Jim, of Pennsylvania; son, Bobby Carter Jr. and wife, Teresa, of Goldsboro; half-brother, Raymond Christison of Tennessee; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
