MARY N. HALES
March 16, 1932-June 13, 2008
Mary Nancy Hales, 76, East Ash Street, passed away Friday at the Brian Center in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro and other times at the home of her niece, Mae Radford, 701 Powell Road, in Goldsboro. Burial will be held privately.
Mrs. Hales was born in Wayne County March 16, 1932, to the late Percy and Lilly Hughes Hales.
She was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the kitchen staff.
She is survived by her son, Kermit William Hales of Goldsboro, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hales was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Williams Hales, and two brothers, Dick Sykes and Pat Sykes.
Although flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be directed to Trinity Missionary Baptist Church.
