FAYETTEVILLE -- Ruby Thigpen Clark, 99, died Sunday in Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lafayette Memorial Park.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Gaston Clark Sr.
She is survived by her children, James N. Kitchens and wife, Jean, of Denver, William G. Clark Jr. and wife, Barbara, of Greensboro, Faye Clark Bain and husband, Grisson, of Fayetteville, Mamie Clark Willis and husband, Gene, of Fayetteville and David B. Clark and wife, Patricia, of Fayetteville; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to Neil Clark, RN., Karen Dobbs and Annie Smith of 3HC and to all of the staff at Kitty Askins Hospice Center of Goldsboro for their outstanding care.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service in Fayetteville.
Services are entrusted to Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service of Fayetteville.
