NORA EDMUNDSON BOGUE

FREMONT -- Lenora Edmundson Bogue, 384 Bogue Road, Fremont, died Thursday, May 29, 2008, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Eureka United Methodist Church, 128 N. Church St., Eureka. Interment will follow in the Eureka Cemetery. The Rev. Gerry Davis and the Rev. Ed Drew will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Eureka United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her daughters, Jacqueline B. Brock of Eureka, Beverly B. Pelt of Fremont, Sue B. Denning and her husband, Bobby of Mount Olive, Maxine B. Ward and her husband, the Rev. Roy Ward of Stoneville; sons, Caswell Bogue and his wife, Nancy of Goldsboro, and Gibson Bogue and his wife, Patricia of Fremont; sisters, Fannie Edmundson Hare of Pikeville, and Esther Edmundson Davis and her husband, Bernice of Fremont; 21 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
A native of the Edmundson Crossroad Community of Wayne County, she was born to the late Mamie Elizabeth Lancaster Edmundson and the late Henry Green Edmundson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Bogue; her siblings, Lillian Edmundson Davis, John Ed Edmundson, Henrietta Edmundson Sasser and Wilbert Clifton "Buck" Edmundson; and her grandchildren, Carolyn Elizabeth Brock, Roland Daniel Brock and Denny Freeman Pelt.
Mrs. Bogue was a member of Eureka United Methodist Church. Until she married Mr. Bogue in 1961 she was an active member of Antioch Free Will Baptist Church.
