Kathy Lynn Heyward, 48, died Thursday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sherwood Howell officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Kathy was born in Wayne County Aug. 19, 1959, to Letha Head of Goldsboro and the late Kenneth Head.
In addition to her mother, Kathy is survived by her husband, William Francis Heyward; her children, Wenona L. Talton of Pikevile, Joe Talton of Goldsboro and Kenneth Brandon Talton of Goldsboro; and her grandchild, Reagan Williams.

The family will receive friends Friday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of her mother, 713 Royall Ave., Goldsboro.
