Katie Bell Howell Anderson, 87, passed away at Liberty Commons Nursing Home in Benson Sunday.
Graveside services will be held at Wayne Memorial Park on Tuesday at 12 p.m., with Pastor Percy Coleman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Shumate-Faulk funeral home.
She was born in Wayne County to the late Sudie G. and David Richard Howell, and was the wife of William "Bill" Anderson.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Larry Anderson and wife, Beverly, of Princeton; a granddaughter, Amanda Martin of Princeton; and a special niece, Sue Howell and husband, Johnny, of Goldsboro.
