Paul Exum, 83, of 147 Best Ave., slipped away into the waiting arms of Jesus on March 20 in the Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
His life will be remembered at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel with the Bishop Jessie L. Williams officiating. His mortal remains will be laid to rest in the Old Mill Cemetery.
Precious memories shall linger in the hearts of his beloved wife, Mamie Brown Exum, of the home; daughter, Malinda Coley, Best Grove Community; sons, Elvin Exum, Parkstown Community, Linwood Earl Exum, Newport News, Va.
Visitation will be Monday from 2 until 8 p.m., with family present to receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro. The family will receive friends at other times at the home of his daughter 504 Hare Road, and will assemble there in preparation for the funeral procession.
