LINDA L. TEEL
Linda Lee Teel, 63, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday at the home of her daughter.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro with visitation afterwards. Pastor Mike Williams will officiate.
Mrs. Teel was born in Washington, D.C., on June 7, 1944. She was retired with 30 years of service with the federal government.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Jane Perman of Washington, D.C.; two sons, Bobby Wiggins and his wife, Patricia, of Goldsboro, Danny Wiggins and his wife, Pat, of Goldsboro; one daughter, Terry Mooring and her husband, Kelvin, of Goldsboro; one brother, Tom Poling of Washington, D.C.; one sister, Robin Luther and her husband, Christopher, of Wood-bridge, Va.; three grandchildren, Lisa Hart, Brady Wiggins and Tiffany Munden; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Tyler Hart; and a special friend, Doug Saul of Goldsboro.
In addition to her father, Theodore Poling, Mrs. Teel was preceded in death by one brother, Ted Poling.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Institute for Cancer Research AICR, 1759 R St., NW, Washington, D.C. 20009.
The family will receive friends following the service on Thursday at the funeral home and other times at her residence, 107 Daleview Drive in Goldsboro.
