CARL BARNETT

FREMONT -- Carl Barnett, 79, of Mildford Lane, passed away Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The Rev. Jerry Evans will officiate.
Mr. Barnett was a member of Fremont Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Ike Proctor of Richmond, Va., Ronald C. Barnett and his wife, Delores, of Georgia; two daughters, Debra Mill and her husband, Henry, of Virginia, Brenda Mills and her husband, Tim, of Virginia; his caretaker of 15 years, Leah Bass of the home; two sisters, Virginia Ennis of Jacksonville, N.C., Helen Carney of Tennessee; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son, Tony Raye Barnett.
